    Softbait glue

    CA
I was watching one of the 09 shows and saw you using a softbait glue I was not familiar with. What kind do you use to attach them to the jigheads?

CA also known as Super Glue has been my choice for several years. Really woks good with the DOA Shrimp. Everything else that I have tried has failed after a few casts. Would be really interested if there is anything better than CA.

    Re: Softbait glue

I would like to know what Flats Class uses as well. I tried Super Glue but thought it was putting off a toxic smell on my baits. Plus if I had to glue a bait back together Super Glue left the joint hard and took away from the action. So I did a quick search on the internetz and found this.

It's not cheap ($14.24 with shipping and Tax) but it seems to work. I've used about 1/2 a bottle already and I'm hoping this glue will pay for itself by saving me on ripped up baits.

So far I can't complain. baits stay on my jigs and it seems to work well on bait repairs.

I haven't seen it locally anywhere but I usually order online anyways..

    Good Luck
