Went offshore fishing with my girlfriend and neighbors and endured a rainy & bumpy ride but still came up with some nice gags and reds in 90 feet of water. My friend Don Gelsinger caught a 10lb. gag on a live pinfish and I added a 6lb. red grouper to round out a twenty fish plus day!
I guess there is one positive to higher fuel prices, fewer anglers willing to go out far enough into the Gulf to target grouper. More opportunity for those who want to spend the money for some great bottom fishing.
